The mighty Night Mechanic is back with another addition to their eminently listenable, pastorally tinged, strikingly poignant, sci-fi rocknroll escapade. Unfortunately, in a strange turn of events, all of the members have accidentally undergone lobotomies, given by a charming, psychosurgical charlatan masquerading as a traveling hot dog salesman. All that has been determined is that he appeared from behind a food cart saying he knew some people in the music industry, and, well, things ended badly.
The good news is we are all granted (mostly) unfettered access to the unconscious minds of some of the most guileless rockers this side of Burnside. And as for whoever's on the other side, they are most likely unaware of the satellite images showing an amassing of disgruntled peasants instigated by madcap Andre Coberly, who knows not what he doth, lying in wait with the Fourth World behind him to pillage carburetors and radiator hoses, among other things.
Meanwhile, Night Mechanic is currently accepting donations to get their new cloning laboratory up and running. Please stop by their new state of the…well, facility. Open after dark.
